NO LONGER AS I THINK I'VE BLOWN IT UP ""S1 For Sale""

Hi,

As much as it pains me to do this I have decided to sell my S1.

Heres the details.

Registered 27/06/85
168k (on service history book but shows 21k on clocks)
12 owners
Tax and Tested till Aug 2010.
Dash not cracked( Can supply pics)
Seats not ripped and bolsters all ok.

Now for the bits i did to get it back on the road last August.

New shocks and springs all round.
Polybushed all round.
New Cam/Tappets etc (Kent CVH35k)
New cam belt
New plugs/Filters/ Mobil 1 15/50 etc etc
Completely refurbished Cossie calipers all round.
New brake lines and braided hoses
4 New tyres Toyo Proxes
New 82 degree thermostat
New Kenlow fan with temp control
New heater matrix

Has been on a rolling road at Redline Tuning made 190bhp with 175lb torque

Have a folder full of history etc etc.

The only bad part on the car is that the drivers wing has come lose from the inner wing at the bottom and there are two rust holes on the wing lip in engine bay.(can post pics if wanted)

I'm looking for around £3.5k for it, but am open to any SENSIBLE offers.

CheeRS. Was resprayed about 10 years ago..

Would i be right in thinking that this is not one of the 5 original black ones made?
If it's not , is it a genuine rs shell ? Has it been completely resprayed , inside and out underneath etc etc ?

This is my old car. I rebuilt it from a bare shell about 10 years ago, still have a photo album with the complete resto on it somewhere. If only I had the money........

I wish it was one of the orig BLACK ones, yeah a RS shell was used and was completely resprayed(inside, out & under)..

Sold the saff mate but still got the 3 door .

Check out my post in the RS Turbo section, heading of strange fault/problem on S1.

This will give you the full details. But luckly enough no its shagged just now needs to be all cleaned up and rebuilt, which i'm hoping to attack later this week.
