Default simply stunning big power flint grey 2wd sapphire

last owner has owned it since 2003.since then it has spent most of its tucked away next to his white 3 door, barely being used apart from the odd blast.
it has had fortunes spent on it pre 2003 and also lots since then.he owns his own body shop and as im sure you can appreciate the bodywork is mint,it has had new arches fitted and look superb as the pics will show.....
a brief description now but i will update this with a much more thorough one tomorrow with the pics.
flint grey
raven leather
17" raceline rl7's
a1 motorsport built engine built 2001/2002 from new 200 block(done minimal miles since this).set up by them also.light blues, air injectors, wrc head gasket,500 cooler,samcos.4 paddle clutch
330mm ap's
coilovers
as ive said,i will update this tomorrow with complete details when ive read all the history and had a proper look at the car,but on the short drive back tonight its a very very quick car

This sounds lovely... what sort of power is it sitting at?? I can't wait to see the pics, I really like Flint Saphs and RL7s look so tough on these cars.

You gonna be putting the same sort of pics up you did with the White 4x4 you had Jay?? Arches, underside etc?? I love your adverts cause they're so honest and straight.

Cheers,
Grant

if i could afford to keep it i would.i love flint grey 2wd sapphs.its also unbelievably lively! lights up the rears with ease.
its on a hybrid t34.im looking through the history to try to get the full story of the car.
seems like all the engine work began in 2001 up to end of 2002 according to all the receipts.chris, the last owner bought it in april 2003 needing some slight cosmetics, which ended up(very typically of him!) having new arches fitted, some othe minor bits and a full repaint about 5 years back.he painted the engine bay area in a matt finish which looks awesome and the rest of the car looks lovely.

the engine parts were purchased originally in may 2001 from ralle spares international which comprised of;
200 block- £560
330 bhp kit -£399
set pistons- £390 (doesnt say what make/type)
set engine bearings-£110
2wd oil pump -£125
engine gasket set -£160
wire ringing of block -£50.62
full head rebuild -£575
set coolant and boost pipes -£160
this totaled £2529 inc vat.

there is then another invoice from same place in june 2001
breather kit -£217 spec r stuff.
header tank- £217
swirl pot -£76.38
bd14 cam -£235.00
rebore(?)- £50
total £796.14.

then in august 2001 there is a bill from ggr for all the ancilary hoses £136
and another from motorsport developments for a set up in october 2001.
then later that month
pj motorsport
rs500 cooler £355
powerflex bush kit £299.30
goodridge brake hoses £63.89
total £729
there are then some receipts in april 2002 for air injector kit from a1 rallyesport for £450
ap brake kit £836
then something must have gone wrong as there is a receipt from a1 rallyesport for a part engine rebuild for £1762
was put together using a wrc head gasket supplied by pj @ £354(part only supplied-fitted by a1)
then obviously after runnijng in it was back at a1 for setting up in sept 2002 at £600.
there are loads of other receipts for recon g/box,quickshift kit, belts, sensors etc etc on top.

im going to try to get it on the ramp later and remove wheels for some suspension/brake/body pics.and some interior shots-it has a safety devices half cage fitted which could easily be removed along with some harnesses.there are also loads of other receipts, old mots from the 90's too but i think the relevant stuff is the engine work and bodywork that i have mentioned.

Thank god im skint the now i said my cossie days were bye but after seeing that if i had money you would be making a trip up here again jay lovley car & anyone wanting a decent spec 2wd cossie will know that this is the one good luck with the sale. As for the guy that doubts the price see what you get for 5k these days then do the maths by the looks of this car it needs nothing

You clearly don't know a lot about Fords if you cannot see why this is an 8k car!

Good luck with the sale Jay

go and buy one for 4k, and then see how much it costs you to get it to the spec & standard of this one

just look at the attention to detail to show why this is a top end 8k cossie.

things like quick release pins on the front bumper so its easy to take it off when on the rollers, these are done for a reason when building proper cars.....and this is mega

nice car.

Pay 8k for this and put petrol in job done. still get 8k when you re-sell.

pay 4-5k for a rotten sapph and spend another 4-5k to make look nice but still be a rotten, 5k's worth of sapph when you come to sell.

the underside has been completely schultzed underneath.not everyones cup of tea but he wanted it to last.it all seems solid enough though and i will post some more pics up.all bushes have been replaced with polybushes.the fuel tank has been replaced and the exhaust is like new.the inner wings are excellent,as are boot floor.
the interior is really nice-seats,roof lining, door cards are all very good.front seat belts have been removed and replaced with harnesses.the rear cage has been bolted in and could easily be removed.pillar gauge pod with oil pressure and boost gauge(im sure i saw 35 psi on it this morning!!!).
it has a clifford remote locking alarm with anti-hijack,expensive cd player, amp and bass box.
front and rear strut brace-spec r.original ford mudflaps, genuine ford headlamp covers and sunroof deflector.
some more pics;
