1988 (Fast Ford Featured) Escort Rs Turbo, black, 66,000 miles. This Rs is a supurb example with a fully forged top spec Duratec Turbo ! This is not a shy car and is definately not for the faint hearted as you can imagine. Unfortunately its time for me to part from my pride and joy. A lack of funds forces a reluctant sale.

car comes with a brand new fully forged Duratec ready to be put in. and it comes with everything!! so who ever buys all they have to do is put the engine in, bolt up to the the gearbox/driveshafts/linkages etc.

yeah i think your right, well if i was too break i'd prob sell as two packages...
1. the car/a complete car without engine and running gear.
2. engine/including complete running gear/gearbox/shafts etc

Imo you'll be more likely to get a price like that if you put the engine in the car/get it mapped so you can sell it as a drive away 400bhp car, as it's technically a non runner as it is! With the engine not yet fitted as said you'll prolly make very good money breaking it

ok i see what your saying. the management is actually allready mapped for the engine, from before. so if u were to put the engine in it would fire up and run strait away.

so what about offers if i wer to break ? engine and running gear inc 6 speed box and all ancillaries to run... ?

Yeah, it was just advice really, as in what i would think if i was buying something To be honest you'd be best to sit down, write a list of what you've got on the car to sell, how much in your head you could let it go for and work from there.....you may find someone will want the entire engine/ancillaries/ecu etc and that would be great but you might find you have to split it into smaller packages. If you had the car fully running, full power so you could demonstrate the car it would be alot easier to sell as i said, it's alot of hassle breakng a car but yours looks like it has a really nice spec so would no doubt make good money IF you can sell 90% of the bits. Might be an idea to just see if you can sell it as a whole, then offer it in bits and see what people want

Duratec's are chain driven m8, not belt driven for starters so as above it looks like the car has a zetec turbo in the pics.

What engine comes with the car exactly, i.e what car is it from? If it is a true duratec turbo i'd be surprised if I didn't know about it tbh

the picture with the engine all built in the car is the old engine. 2.0 silvertop zetec. it now has a fully forged Duratec engine (vvt) to be fitted.
i jus simply havnt got the money to have it put in the engine that you see with the head off is a 2.1 duratec. Same as a black top zetec really...

some are purple and i think thier is another colour too, i will check.

samcos are about 8 months... very clean , no ware ar tears. blue has not faded.

the clutch in a custom made 6 paddle competition clutch from precision clutch components.

it is specifically for an ST170 Getrag six speed box, nothing else.

can you tell me what bushes are there mate, and is that a complete kit ie front to back, and as for the samcos i'm not sure weather im re building my engine or buying one already done! pm me your details ie phone number and i will be in touch regarding payment for bushes.... ps those complete brake set up is'nt for sale is it?if so how much?
