im sure you all know the car-if not its on the front cover of this months performance ford mag with a feature inside.

i got the car this week in a deal with one of my cars-it will either stay with me and end up as my(expensive!) toy/track car but im also going to advertise it for sale as if anyone who knows me will say-i dont keep anything for more than 5 mins.............

i will post up full details and lots of pics in about 2-3 hrs as ive got to pop out now.........my little 4 year old girl has a dance show!

ok im back now.
right,where do i start.

gartrac modified mk3 shell-on the v5 as an xr3i but a 2000cc one!
narrow atlas axle with motorsport lsd,4 linked with panhard rod-spax adjustable platforms-all rose jointed.rear discs with xr3i front calipers fitted-no handbrake(would benefit from a set of 2wd cossie calipers and handbrake cables).the longer i own it the more chance this will be sorted!
2wd cossie engine and t5 gearbox-last owner was claiming 320 bhp but its still on yellows-goes well though so presume its stage 1.runs well and sounds sweet-no smoke.t3,4x4 intercooler,group a coil.
shell was modified to take mk2 running gear so has mk2 steering rack,compression struts,adjustable tca's,all rose jointed.bilstein coilover struts.cosworth 2wd front brakes.bias pedal box.
full roll cage which runs through to strut tops.
cobra monaco bucket seats and harnesses.
fuel cell with 2 fuel pumps and swirl pot.
exterior recently repainted and fitted with s1 decal kit.looks clean and presentable.
s1 wheels.
there are no door locks or ignition switch so no keys-it has been built as a track orientated car.starts with a succesion of switches and buttons.no fuel gauge,but one could be fitted easily.

it actually drives well and is very lively-obviously being rose joined its a very harsh drive-but great fun!!!!sounds awesome too.its mot'd for 12 months so could be taxed and used on road.

the beauty of it is it looks like a s1,but really isnt-its much more!a rare car with decent power-and rear wheel drive!

pricewise-£8295 ono. may consider a p/x,deal why?

jay the axle on it isnt an atlas mate its a 4ha which is a very good axle and in std form they are stronger that a atlas

fitted a boost gauge today and its just under 14psi so would guess about 270 bhp.
very lively in such a light car though!

i have today fitted a fuel sender and gauge,new steering rack rubbers.
also fitted the compomotive th wheels.fronts are a bit too wide but im looking for a pair of 7x15 to cure that.they really fill the arches now though!

i love it like this.......
