Hi. Having trouble locating EGR in 2005 focus 1.8 tdci
! Disconnected the electrical part and removed 4 bolts to reveal brass cork screw type thing which is reluctant to come out. Should I persist in trying to remove this or is there another way in???
As you can probably tell I'm not too car savvy, so any explanation will have to be blow by blow please.
Car is emitting clouds of white smoke on start up and is reluctant to start on cold days - got someone to check for fault codes and it threw up EGR. After taking things apart and putting together again, fault code has changed to glow plug!! and now have the engine management light on and car is in limp mode. What is going on????
Can anyone out there help??
