hope no one minds me dragging this problem back up but I have an issue with the seat tilt mechanism. The seat stopped tilting forward so i checked plastic handle and it looked worn so I assumed it wasn't picking up the nipple correctly.
I removed the handle which is easy to do tilted the seat forward by pulling the nipple with pliers and while is this position clicked a brand new handle in place.
All looked okay the nipple seemed to sit correctly as the handle pushed out slightly as it does in the tilted position and then dropped the seat back into place.
The trouble is every time the seats down and you pull the lever the nipple isint picking up properly and slips back off.
I thought maybe the catch at the bottom of the seat was a bit tight so i sprayed a little WD40 on all the moving parts but nothing seemed to fix it anyone any ideas?
