Really progressed on the car now, I'ts finally almost ready for paint.



Engine bay done and wings all welded on.





Got the underneath in Etch an any bare metal surfaces.






Got the whole car in primer, and most of the inside.




Layed down the sound deadening pads, only in the front of the floor.



Started painting the inside of the car and the boot. The color is a met grey and actually a LOT lighter than what it looks in the picture. This was just the first coat before any clear as well.



Now we are currently wet flatting the whole car thoroughly, an checking for any small defects or faults that need improving.

Should be in paint by the weekend with any luck.

We've been counting from the start the hours gone into this car, and its over 1500 hours in total, and we still have a lot to do. Should be all worth it when the car is done though.

I've also been buying a lot of parts lately for when its done, picked these up last week

Gaz Gold coilovers with 13" rears and the Eccentric Top Mounts, really pleased with them.

This is some of the other parts I've got ready for the car as well. A lot of it is in boxes though, I've got most of the parts to complete the car. And all the aftermarket stuff is brand new.
