The cross trainer is good, but running is far better in my experience.

I went from being very sporty, to getting an office job where I had a poor diet and NO exercise.

Its worth having a proper training plan and a goal to aim towards as far as exercise is concerned.

I now run three times a week, and am training really hard. Have lost loads of weight, but am significantly fitter, and have a good goal.
