Just seen a link to this site on clubpolo.co.uk What a dissapointment. What a reflection on me,a known ex Ford enthusiast.
My experience with early fast Fiestas led me to the car i have today,because i didn't bum one marque. They were fun but had pissed steering colums,strange chassis set ups of panhard rod on fwd car,reverse opening bonnets and sounded like ball bearings in a biscuit tin.
This is my Polo,and is everything my twin 40'd XR2 failed to be..

Yes that white Golf is ridiculous. The owner is a prat. But where's the hate coming from, aimed generally at those of us also driving modified 80's VW's?
I always knew Ford owners were yobs.. Even though family members cars include two MK1 Lotus Cortinas, a MK2 Cortina Lotus, '77 RS1800 16v and '73 RS1800 Id rather be known as a BMW X5 driver than a Ford driver right now, i think.
But that's only if half this topic is anything to go by - i'll take it that its an isolated case.
