some people would call chopping a nova to bits and sticking an engine in the back complete toss and stupid, but theres an arse for every seat
that rabbit in the thread is utterly fucking stupid and has been taken way too far.
but tbh i love the whole "dub" scene now, tgo to a dub show and you see so many cars that have had silly amounts of man hours put into them and are ridiculously clean, good to see people with that sort of commitment.
people daring to be different will kill the whole car scene IMO

But since when in the hell has having loads of camber looked cool? Wake up and smell the poo poo, it just looks like your wheels are on the piss and your car is broken.
I used to really like some aspects of the VW scene. The smooth, simple styling, split rims, nice stances, well thought out modifications. Now it's just ridiculous, it just seems to be about scraping cats eyes and who can do the most ridiculous modifications for the sake of being 'different'.
I know a lad who had a 16v Polo, dropped it so low the centre box would hit the floor if he did 70 on a dual carriageway. It had stupid little superlights on that were just way too small for the car and ridiculous vinyl plastered over a couple of the panels, with that smarties vinyl in other places, and other random stickers here and there. It broke down constantly, kept smashing the exhaust up, breaking bits here there and everywhere. What's the point in making a car undriveable? VW people seemed to love the thing, yet it was a pile of shit, he could barely drive it.
I would wager that people on the Ford scene put just as many hours into cars, just check out some of the projects on here. The difference is, other scenes seem to be able to blend looks with the ability to actually use the car, rather than just sacrificing every aspect of driving the car for the sake of it being low and having wonky wheels
They're a breed unto themselves. I'm Ford through and through, yet I've been to meets for other marques and can always find something to talk about with people who appreciate a smart/fast/nicely put together car, yet it seems at VW events, I'm just not accepted, because I don't understand why you should make a car totally incapable of fulfilling its sole purpose of actually being a car. Shame really, as they have some decent engines and nice cars to play with, you just don't seem to see anything particularly special, as they're all too worried about skimming the road surface and wearing funny hats
