Are you going for a near enough full mock build before paint? i would if it was mine, there's nothing worse than a lovely paint job with a bit that needs " addressing " with a hammer to get something to fit LOL!

Then plan is to have it fully built up and running before striping it down again. Like you say i don't want to be beating panels or drilling holes once its painted
Trouble is once this is finished, you know whats getting converted next
