basicly a car of mine was involved ina non fault accident, the assessor came round to view the other day
now in my opinion the cars a write off, it also has suspension damage
i called the other persons insurance company to ask progress she didnt have the engineers report so she called him, he is sending it to her but she thinks they will be wanting to repair the car which to be honest was a complete shock to me, although she may be mistaken and maybe once they have the report they will change mind
anyways its a rear quarter, a big one at that as the door shut is gone too, the door needs replacing, wheel and tyre and there is suspension damage also as the wheel is bent inwards at top
glass is smashed bumper needs repair
ok for a guess you could price a large quarter at say £300? and maybe a door £250? so then the rest apart from the other bits needed is labour to repair and paint.
whats ya guesses in hours and cost?
i presume i have the right to have the car repaired were i like? basicly ive got to be completely honest i dont want the car back after a wack like that i dont want my wife and children to be inside it so id prefer it to be a total loss but it looks like i might have to have it fixed.
heres the pics anyway
