Bob i see what your saying! but just looked and you can run a emerald ecu on mg and after speaking to someone in the know about rover engines and Dave is a specialist when it comes to emerald and rover engine ive been informed with good blueprinted engine and CR just right on the emerald you could see 130bhp no problems, i think in the right hands the mg could be suprising, im one of these people who love to be different.
