hi guys,

so the missus has finally killed my old xr2, cheapest fix is to throw another 1.6 in it,

Question : is there anything specific to the xr2 lump ? im thinking strip the old engine of the ancillarys, head etc and bolt the bits on a 1.6 CVH sourced from the scrappy.

Are the comp ratios etc the same so any 1.6 CVH carb/injected engine will do?
(obviously not rs)
