The calibra turbo pistons work better in the zetec turbo engine as the compression would be far to low if they were fitted to the zvh engine what you need is the c20xe pistons fitted to the red top astra gte, they are available for around the £160 figure for a set of 4 .

do i just need the pistons and fit them to are the bits that attach them on the zetec (called conrod ???
) sorry if that a stupid question but not to good with a spanner
i assume the vauxhall XE pistons need the same modifications as the Calibra Turbo pistons to be fitted to the zetec rods. in which case the little end of the zetec con rod needs to be machined out to allow the larger gudgeon pin of the vauxhall piston to fit.
